The latest single-seat variant in the F/A-18 series. Like the double-seat F/A-18F, it has been fitted with improvements on a greater scale than the upgrades from the A/B type to the C/D type. It boasts stable maneuverability at low and medium speeds, as well as exceptional anti-air capabilities, and its long-range anti-surface missiles allow it to make preemptive strikes from a distance and then move in to finish the target. Its versatility and utility are phenomenal. Like the F-type, its nickname is "Super Hornet".

This aircraft was added from May 26, 2022 following the TOP GUN: Maverick Aircraft Set including the F/A-18E, F-14A, DarkStar, and the 5th Gen Fighter also referred as the Su-57 PAK-FA variant. Once you clear the Campaign Mode, you'll be able to use aircraft skins from previous ACE COMBAT titles. (also clear DLC missions in order to use it)
