HI !
Now, you all knows that I like making skins. Well, I've made some for Ace Combat X, with PPSSPP you can actually swap a lot of things that the game displays and customize or change skins for your game experience. A lot of players in the community already made a very good job, adding skins and other, I'm currently using the HD skin pack downloaded from here: https://superostrich.xyz/acx.html

My goal was not to only add some skins, but also to change some details, like the map. I've never actually understood why Aurelia's map was so empty, no informations at all. Also the geography, it was really weird. I would say that Aurelia's geography looks a lot more like Australia than Argentina, with a big main desert area that traverses the country, from Puna Plains to Stand Kanyon, to Kalana Steppes. Then there should be a long Mountain zone that could start from Cape Aubrey, reaching Mount Breeze and the northern zone of Kalana, and finally ending in Mount Nevera. That would explain why there's no mission in northern Aurelia, there's desert and mountains, and no strategical locations since that area would be a lot less populated. But, I cannot tell if I'm right about Aurelia's geography, and the map displayed in the game gave us no information, since all seems equal, even the steppes area seems to be green and filled in mountains. Then I decided to use our regular map with flags and location names. I think it looks cool, let me know what you think in comment. This is still a work in progress, I'm working on different projects for my life now, so this is a bit less important. But I'll keep working on it, I also hope to release a skin pack with the skins made by me and the map swap. Also, in campaign mode, the blue point that indicates the player's position has been swapped with the Gryphus Squadron patch.
