Story :

Norse Mythology has it that warriors who died with weapon in hand go to Valhalla, a paradise where they train for the eventual apocalpyse - Ragnarok. In this universe, Valhalla gladly welcomes the few warriors who challenged seven Slayers of Heroes at once. Valkyries, lady warriors serving Odin, god of gods, and Thor, god of thunder and war, patiently wait for the deaths and arrival of these brave souls.

... except Barbatos himself also had his 7x Barbatos battle, so he goes to Valhalla and starts trashing the place. Valhalla, after all, encourages warriors to fight with vigor, so it is not surprising Barbatos feels at home.
Soon, Barbatos brings his army of replicas with him and utter chaos ensues.

A brave Valkyrie, armed with sword, shield, winged helmet and a skirt that cannot possibly feel comfortable, sets out to contain the Barbatos infestation.

Felt like doing a Barbatos x7 fight, but hesitated which character to pick this time. I realized I should do Stahn and Kyle eventually, because, you know, they're actually in the same game as Barbatos. But since I didn't feel like learning their moves, I took an unusual choice and picked Valkyrie, a fan-made character based off the Valkyrie cameo battle in Tales of Eternia.

She has no voice yet, but she barely has any voice clips in Eternia, so I don't think there's much to miss. Besides, she doesn't talk much, she mostly squeals to the point you could convince people she's made of plush.

Equipped with fewer moves than most ACS characters, Valkyrie must rely on their great power. Against 7 Barbatos, she still has some good moves, but they are risky because of their long cooldown (I'm looking at you, Ray). Furthermore, to balance her strengths, she can't double jump or air dash - very bad for this battle. It's very easy to die during a wall combo.

There were also some bugs I had to solve, her being a new character and all. Not a problem though.

The strategy should be pretty obvious in the video. I gave myself 70 TP to start, like I usually do, and that's enough to win provided she doesn't get her spells interrupted too much. Getting stuck in the corner with everyone pounding me is worse than ever since she can't air dash. She can sometimes escape by air recovering, then using the two Artes she can use mid-air one after the other - this will make her fall in the middle of the Barbs, where hopefully she'll be catapulted towards the center of the stage.
