City of Brass is an indie, Action Roguelike all about grabbing the Gold and gaining Power, as you whip and tear through the cursed City of Brass. And I mean whip, as you have a bullwhip that is so much fun.
Your awesome whip has great reach, far more than your sword, so use it to grab treasure, and wack away at enemies as they charge you.
You can whip enemies to stun them if you hit them in the head, or whip their legs to trip them, or even grab hold of them and pull them towards you, and even into traps!
So Whip em good!

There are also merchants you can find in the City born of both Procedural Generation and brass, using your new found gold to buy upgrades for your current run; things like a frost whip, a set of daggers to add massive damage to your push, the services of a ghostly guard, and more.
These upgrades can really change your run, so remember to use your treasure to invest in you, and your continued survival!

Procedural Generation and Permadeath are present, with Meta Progression present in the form of class unlocks, though the starting classes seems solid as well. You also unlock the descriptions of items as you find, purchase, or experience them, adding a bit to the built in game journal as well.

Oh, and watch out for the traps! The damned denizens of the cursed city went a bit trap happy to protect their gold, and Spike traps, Pit Traps with spikes, Explosive pots, Sand Jet Traps, Flaming Braziers, and more await the intrepid explorer, though remember, your foes feel their pointy, blasty, flaming vengeance as well! So knock, whip, or trick your foes into the lurking flames, and profit!

With an FPS presentation that is fast and fun, City of Brass presents an immersive, treasure focused action dungeon crawler where the power increases come from spending your found gold to buy the powers you need. Much as in real life, with great piles of cash, comes great power.
And the whip is so much fun!
