9The big one...A game that made Atari 2600 fans go crazy, along with Pitfall, Enduro, and River Raid. Only recently have I found out the one thing that made this game so great: it's addictive. Even if all the buckets were lost early on, a person would want to play this over and over again just to get the highest score he/she can. It's that good.
In KABOOM!, there's a robber on top of a building trying to blow it up by dropping bombs from the top of it. The buckets down below must try to catch as many of these bombs as they can (and reach as close as possible to a maximum of 999,999 points (bit from manual)) before all three buckets are lost. Every time a bomb hits the bottom of the building, one of the buckets is lost. When all three buckets are lost, he succeeds in his plot.
Ho boy! I sure did a bunch of recordings for this one after I found a game that I was satisfied with. I wanted to last for quite a while with three buckets, so I decided to do a recording where I would last for at least three stages with them. This particular game here gave me quite an adrenaline rush! I can bet anyone watching this will either want to watch it again or go play the game themselves!
