This is one virtual hangout everyone needs. No home is complete without it. If you are looking for a sweet get away space, to meet people, have fun with a friend, or just chill with Johnny the Robot after a long day, Beer Pong Basement is the place to be.
The game gives you a virtual basement where you can party it up or chill and relax. There are games to play, big screens to watch your favorite YouTube videos and music, white boards to draw on, secret ping pong balls to find, ranks to move and more.
Graphics: The graphics of the game are nice. Everything is to size and feels right. Nothing feels out of place or immersion breaking. It looks and feels like a real basement. There is even a snow night scene outside the windows to see. 4/5
Sounds: The music is what ever you can find on YouTube. From your favorite tunes to watching cartoons. The sound effects are great and help with the immersion. Example is hanging out in the TV lounge area, you can hear the fire crackling away, giving you that warm feeling. 4/5
Controls: Controls are very simple to learn and adjust to your play style from a popup screen. From sitting to standing, movement style, its all there to make you comfortable in game. The game also support room scaling. I love walking over to the card table and sitting down to draw. There was some delay time to time in picking up the ball, but nothing breaking. The throwing of the ball is spot on and feels very real. 4/5
Fun Factor: This game is just packed with fun. Playing it solo or with another person, you are going to have a blast. Plus there are secret balls to find. It can be a party place, or your own personal place to just hangout and play. One thing I would like to see added to the game is some darts, to go with that dart board. 4/5
Immersion: This is a immersive game. Its simple but very immersive at the same time. Everything feels to scale and graphically pleasant to the eyes. The sounds are just right, and movement is amazing. The physics in the world are great. Johnny has spilt my beer a few times, knocking it over with a ping pong ball. The Ready Player Me avatar compatibility allows for everyone to have a personal unique avatar making it even more immersive not seeing the same avatar time. One thing I would like is more little items around the basement I can pick up and interact with. 5/5
This is a great game, and I can only see it getting better. It has a free trial for 15mins, so jump into that basement and have some fun. Final score 4.5/5 (Will be 5 Stars)
