1. Click Windows Start, type Settings, and press Enter key.
2. Click Update & Security then Windows Security and then click Virus & threat protection.
3. In Windows Defender windows, click Virus & threat protection settings.
4. Scroll Down and look for Exclusion and then click Add or remove exclusion.
5. Click Add an exclusion and then select Folder.
6. Browse for the Nicehash folder or the Miner file folder.
7. Click or highlight the Nichash folder or the Miner file folder
8. Then click Select Folder.
9. Run the Nichash.exe or the Miner .exe
