Add Your Debit Card to Uber Driver App
Adding your debit card to the Uber Driver app is essential for receiving instant payouts and managing your earnings efficiently. The app allows drivers to link a debit card for features like Instant Pay, which enables you to access your earnings immediately after completing a ride, instead of waiting for the standard weekly deposit. The setup is quick and only takes a few minutes from within the app.
To get started, open the Uber Driver app on your smartphone. Make sure you’re logged into your driver account using your credentials—this could be your mobile number, email, Google, Apple ID, or passkey, depending on how your account is set up.
Once you're logged in, navigate to the "Wallet" section of the app. This can typically be accessed from the main menu or dashboard. In the Wallet section, you'll see your earnings summary and available balance, along with options to manage your payment methods.
Tap on “Payment Methods” and then select “Add Debit Card.” You'll be prompted to enter your debit card information, including the 16-digit card number, expiration date, and CVV code. Some devices also allow you to scan your card using your phone’s camera to autofill the details, which can save time and reduce errors.
After entering your card information, confirm the details and save the card to your account. Once added, the debit card will be available for Instant Pay or any other payout method you configure in the future.
Make sure the debit card is active and issued by a US bank (or your local Uber-supported region) to ensure compatibility with Uber’s payout system. You can update or remove the card at any time from the same Wallet menu.
