I'm relatively new dm (I've run a few one shots but never a long standing campaign.), and we're going to be running a homebrew for 5e (very chaotic and crazy setting). I'd like to incorporate chaos storms, warp rifts, primal chaos, and random magical type effects. We've talked about it as a group and decided it would be very funny, but I'm just stumped! I don't know what to do! I don't wanna just pull from a bunch of random tables but I wanna have some sense of random and chaotic powers. I've looked at wild magic but still.. It doesn't quite do what I want it to. This might not necessarily be a easy to answer question (more like a gm tips or a Mage forge) but I'd really like to hear your guy's opinion.
Simplified question: HOW DO I DO CHAOS STORMS IN MY CAMPAIGN SETTING!
