You may catch a pokemon if it WILL gain a type attributed to your nation, for example: an Air Nation player may have Magikarp as long as it evolves as soon as it can into Gyarados.

If by evolving a Pokemon it becomes incompatible with your nation you may no longer use that Pokemon.

Normal Type and Bug Type Pokemon can be caught by anyone, but if it has a secondary typing then it must be the one assigned to your nation, or it cannot be used.

Standard Nuzlocke Rules:
-----------------------------------------

Any Pokemon that faints must be released or boxed permanently for the rest of the challenge.

Only the first eligible wild Pokemon encountered in a route or area can be caught. If the player fails to catch it, their opportunity to catch a Pokemon in that area is lost.

The player must nickname all Pokemon they catch or obtain.

Duplicate clause: If the first Pokemon in an area is one the player already owns, they may continue battling until they encounter one they do not own, and then attempt to catch it.

Shiny Clause: If the player encounters a shiny wild Pokemon, they may catch it, even if a wild Pokemon has already been encountered in that area. This does not count as the encounter for that area.
