AddMusicK Tutorial - Adding Custom Songs to SMW Hacks!!
7After my last laptop bit the dust unexpectedly, we had to rebuild a lot of my laptop stuff, including Bunbun 3. Since I had to rebuild the AMK list for Bunbun 3, I decided to stream the process and it turned into a tutorial for AddMusicK!
This is an unedited stream work stream/tutorial of adding about 30 ports into Bunbun 3. I edited out the process of hunting for music on SMWCentral since it was mostly just vibing to ports, but I thought it was important to highlight this part in case someone needed it.
We were able to cover a variety of topics in this, including:
- what "custom music" in SMW looks like, and important things to look out for
- adding music files
- sampled vs unsampled ports
- adding sample files
- adding sample group files
- creating the list.txt
- troubleshooting/using GUI and Command Prompt
- tweaks for disabling P-Switch and Star music, replacing title and "Nintendo Presents"
