Advent Neon By Larry Boyd Is A Fast Pace and Badass 2D Platformer Inspired By Sonic The Hedgehog and Freedom Planet. This was a game that I didn't expected to be good! I was surprise by the controls. It's really good! It's pretty obvious what this game was inspired by. We can throw a bunch of 2D platforming sidescrolling games on the list but this game has its own unique style. it's inspired by games like Sonic the Hedgehog and Freedom Planet to name a few. It combines a bit of beat em up with fast pace platforming with some fast pace auto scrolling. The beginning of the game shows and teaches you the controls so you can get familiar with the game.
