There were two puzzles during the 2021 Advent of Code that I did by hand because I was having trouble coding them -- Day 24, Arithmetic Logic Unit, and this one -- Day 23, Amphipod.

I did eventually go back and solve it with A* (and you can see my code on my Github https://github.com/tipa16384/adventofcode/blob/main/2021/slider23.py). But I've been trying to also learn more about developing visualizations with PyGame. I combined AoC, PyGame, and the game I'm currently playing, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, to do this little video showing the solutions to the two parts. I had to develop a lot of animation code from scratch...
