So I've been playing beastmage for quite a bit now and decided to put it through its limit in the gwen gauntlet. And it did pretty alright for the most part, I think there's only one boss that made me adjust my strategy and another boss where I nearly threw, so even though it's not perfect I still think it's a good run that I can be content with.

I made a cool combo for the shadow roc and rhubzard. It's where I set up nature's rec first, and after that I cast celerity from SFP, use ele empower from olympax misc, use scarab or mainstat shield, switch to necro with mana amp toggle and spellcaster lean, equip poelala pet, summon deathless knight guest, I cast knife to meat you then The Ugly spell from loremaster tome, switch the mana amp toggle to full amplification, use scarab shield or use wyrd ward for rhubzard because he has a one hit move, equip an earth weapon so guest deals earth damage, toggle deathless knight to go into berserk mode, equip goggernaut helm misc to help with guest accuracy, switch poelala for woolzard, and finally cast gecko chomp for earth def loss to make it even easier for the guest to land hits.

I successfully did that whole thing for shadow roc but ended up not doing it correctly, for rhubzard which almost led to me throwing the entire run for that mistake.

I also learnt the phoenix is really annoying for my build not because of the damage it deals to me, but rather the choke, high magic defence and the heal made it difficult, and realised casting earth spells doesn't seem like the way to go, I have to draw mana which gives it time to gain SP to heal, it can inflict choke to reduce my damage, and has high defence so not all of my hits land easily, and this all allowed the boss to out heal whatever amount of damage I was trying to do. So I changed that and went the prismatic burn route and use Mystic Caissa + the bun banneret pet because it only deals ranged damage and the boss has low ranged defence.
