AdventureQuest - Best Pure Warrior Setup? (Fear Nuking)
20AdventureQuest has seen many eras and many dominant builds, but with the recent addition of Tempest Power Armor warriors have an incredibly consistent and overpowering nuke. Combining the power of weapon imbues, the werewolf subrace, and absurd formulas, warriors can easily and consistently hit damage cap.
The core of the build is pretty simple. Terror set misc, werewolf subrace, Terror Eater, Purple Rain, Essence Orb, and Shadowfeeder Pendant. The other items are nice, and add a lot of power and versatility to the build, but they are not necessary.
Basic strategy used: I purple rain at the start of every fight to create the restore point for after i use all the boosts. Then, typically, i cast buffalot for increased strength. Then it is a matter of equipping the Terror Visage (misc item), and using werewolf snarl to inflict fear. If i get the double fear, perfect. If not, i have contingencies as shown with Raychael. Essence Orb is used to convert HP into SP, this is the primary reason Purple Rain is used so that we can full heal after applying all our effects. Then it is a matter of applying other effects to myself.
Shadowfeeder for celerity so i can attack twice, and Helm of Frostval past for extra Bonus to Hit. Love potion to lockdown the enemy if the kill will take more than 1 turn. Chieftan's Ironthorn has an STR buff if clicked on, which makes it the best shield to use for this. Dragonguard invocation gives Hypercritical, which basically makes my next 2 attacks guarenteed LUKy strikes, or crits. Then, depending on the enemy's elemental resistances, i use of my imbues. once all that is done, i cast purple rain until i get the reset. I change to Terra Bloodzerker (with skill on) or Tempest Power Armor (with initiative damage boost on) for their absurd bonus damage, or to use their skills as imbues themselves. Then i click on the sword's eyes to eat fear. Usually, the monster dies.
This was recorded on the 16th of July, so the new GGB ectoplasm weapons, which have a wind imbue, were not out yet.
