I was very excited to play this game. I normally don't buy based on trailers but the art style got me and I think I'm in a great postilion to write with just over 5 hours in one sitting playing this game. The price is something you can't complain about either. Aeon Must Die was not what I was expecting. I knew it was going to look great and I figured it was going to be like Streets of Rage. I got something a bit more tactical which makes the pacing slower but that's not a bad thing at all for this particular game. You can't just come in with the hope that button mashing like you are playing Tekken 3 for the 1st time and choosing Eddie Gordo is going to get you anywhere. You will get absolutely demolished. You'll need to pick yourself up, slide back in the shadows, reflect, plot your revenge and come back with a game plan. Once you get the hang of it though it's pretty awesome and I like the difficulty. Not toooooo hard but not a walk in the park either. Make sure you pay attention to the training info and be sure to go back to the training because most likely your 1st instinct is to attack attack attack. That's fine but be sure to mix things up or you will get decimated by the AI. If you like tactical fighting, a good balance of risk reward gameplay and reasonable difficulty then this game is for you. I know I'll be playing more.
