In this video, AERY travels through a Desert Wasteland, the Icy Mountains, the River Land & the Arctic Trail following the robots who breathe new life to the land.
AERY: Titans of the Future is a casual flight simulator where you take control of a bird named AERY that flies through different environments & levels while picking up feathers along the way. This is the 21st game in the AERY series & the focus of this entry within the series are large, futuristic robots (or mechs) who have appeared randomly throughout each level to either rebuild cities, towns & other environments that have been either ravaged by war, drought, famine or even humanity's rapid expansion. The robots have travelled from outer space to restore these places to their old glory or bring new life to them. Each level in AERY: Titans of the Future tells its own separate story that is specific to the area highlighted within that level. For instance, the Country Side level features a quiet, rural farming town that has been hit hard with infertile soil where the robots transform the ground back to its former glory using some kind of a mist. The game includes a total of 10 levels where every level begins with the player taking control of AERY with the goal/objective of picking up all of the feathers within that level. In most of the entries within this series, upon collecting a feather a narrator begins to speak while providing you a bit of background on the overall story while also speaking directly to the specific level that you are currently playing. This does help flesh out the story a little bit better than this series' earlier titles (especially since cutscenes and/or dialogue are completely absent from these games). It's still, in its core, a casual & relaxing flight sim where the goal is to collect feathers as you fly through the game's various levels while obtaining very easy achievements along the way.
As was the case with several of the previous entries in the series, this game features quite a few of the levels were made up of levels that were included in some of the previous entries. The placement of the feathers in this entry was definitely better than most of the previous entries, however, there were still some levels that were slightly annoying. As I have noted quite a few times in the past, I really wish the devs took more time with these games so that every level could be unique & the feather placement could be a bit better. It would be even better if the game had dynamic scenes & levels where the different entities discussed by the narrator were actually alive & moving around. Most of the levels in this entry took an average of 5 minutes (which is the usual standard for every game in this series), however, some of the levels that had the annoying feather placement took a little bit longer. As with all of the previous entries in this franchise, I believe that this game will most likely only interest you if you're an achievement hunter or have never played any of the other games in the series & want to check out a casual flight sim game.
With regards to the achievements in this game: AERY: Titans of the Future includes a total of 10 achievements for a total of 1000 GS. Just like with most of the previous games, all of the achievements require you to simply complete each of the 10 levels. Full completion of this game's achievements should take somewhere around an hour as there are only 10 levels & the amount of time it takes to finish each level varies, but they're usually somewhere around 5 minutes each.
