AFE: Testing - Residual Charge is useless?
Just trying to find a viable use for Residual Charge.... Particle Pulse does 1200 damage, which is enough to kill Poppers, so I figured maybe Residual Charge would stack in a swarm of them and chain off each other, maybe with Disrupting Radiation slowing things down too, but no.
From this, I think you can only have 1 Residual Charge DOT(Damage Over Time) effect active on an enemy at a time, and all more do is widen the area the DOT is applied in, so more damage can happen if something stays in multiple AOE(Area Of Effect) spots on corpses for longer.
Residual Charge does 150 damage over 4 seconds in a 2.5 meter radius. So when damage adds up to more than that, I think a popper is crawling through multiple radii to soak more damage that way, but it's barely more than the base maximum of 150...
I'm not sure if this is a bug or just a bad perk. Going to report it as a bug though...
