As the departure of international combat troops from Afghanistan nears, a final push is underway to boost the Afghan National Army's capabilities.

Part of that drive is advanced artillery training.

In a joint exercise this week ANA soldiers have for the first time co-ordinated live firing by Royal Artillery gun crews.
