Late at night, Mandy decides to get ready for bed. She can't shake the feeling of being watched, and hesitates while moving through the dark. Is she just paranoid, or is someone lurking in the dark?
WHAT IS PAREIDOLIA?
It is the tendency to perceive significant imagery in unmeaningful patterns. In other words, you might look at a shadow in the dark, and think you see a person or thing that isn't actually there.
