After the End - Firing Range Mode Full Walkthrough
Since no one has ever recorded a full walkthrough of Firing Range in After the End yet, I've decided to be the first person to do this, only Campaign has been fully recorded and has been done by one user, due to some of his videos being hard to find I have created an unofficial public playlist for it.
This video covers all 40 Levels of Firing Range, while the cuts I did on the video are a little rough so there may be some tiny imperfections left, I have made sure the video only contains successful runs, no game overs, nothing else that should make the video look way too bad to watch, this video both serves as a documentation (I will use this for StrategyWiki soon) and a walkthrough for people who want to know what Firing Range looks like, whether if its worth your time and how to finish it.
Mission 11 has a special requirement, you must get to the finish line as soon as it appears or else it will disappear and you'll be stuck, the only way out is to restart the level and do it again.
If someone is willing enough to provide accurate timestamps for every level in this video, I will really appreciate it.
Firing Range in a nutshell, is basically just like Campaign except you cannot upgrade your character which means the difficulty is even higher compared to Campaign, most levels will ask you to kill a specific amount of mutants and kill count requirements will rise up to more than 200 quickly, this mode will really push you to the limits of your skill, and power-ups that supposedly hinder you from killing monsters in Campaign for more experience such as Chrono Moderator, Freezer, and Panic Emitter gains increased value here because you need all the help you can get, tractors are also even more useful here since there isn't a lot to use to defend yourself.
Firing Range is even more broken compared to Campaign, the broken levels are: 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22, 26, 35, 37
There may be more, but this is what I have discovered so far, the broken levels are made playable by Method 1 + black floor bug fix, therefore if you want to play Firing Range with less hassle, you may want to use Method 1 and Method 3 provided here: https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/After_the_End
(The PCGamingWiki page for After the End is also primarily edited by me, all the information it contains and especially the fixes are provided by me.)
If Method 3 doesn't seem to work, you have to "unwrap" your copy of the old After the End, I won't say how to do that but a certain Google search with a specific keyword should reveal that to you immediately.
If you are planning to use this video as reference or anything else, please consider asking me, this video is not easy to make as some of the levels in this mode are incredibly difficult, thank you.
Enjoy watching the video, if there are any questions related to this game, please feel free to ask, if I get more requests I may also try to upload Survival videos.
