The aftermarket event has official been announced and will seemingly be bringing us some new content and features when it finally drops on october 6th. Among these is the long awaited introduction of crossplay which will be a beta
version, a new gamemode and of course being a collection event we will have the chance to recieve a free heirloom. That joke never gets old. We have some details on how crossplay will work, respawn seems to be intent on this not being
a true crossplay experience i'll explain more in a bit. Now that crossplay is being implemented every player can play with their friends that are using other platforms. If you want you can have a team of ps4, xbox one and pc player all
on the same squad. Now just a bit ago i said that this wouldn't be a true crossplay experience, and What i mean by this is that console players will be able to play against other players on other systems.
So if you're playing on xbox then by default if you have the crossplay feature active then you'll find yourself going against ps4 and switch playerrs. however they will not be able to play against PC players by default. The only way
you'll be able to play against a lobby of PC players will be if you have joined a PC player which will thus throw you into a lobby with PC players. The new game mode is something that's actually including an item that peoplee have
been speculating for months. As many of you will recall a few months back we got a leak of a sort of campfire item being implemented into apex legends with its introduction coming via a gamemode event. The upcoming limited time mode
event flashpoint is exactly that and the description fits as this has a beacon that will give players around it health and shield regeneration. The gamemode will also have an extra twist to it as healing items will be removed. I'm
pretty confident that we will see these regen beacons become an official in game item much like the portable respawn beacons a week or two after this event ends. The aftermarket event is brining in some bundles for some event skins.
the two legend skins being revenant which will include 7 apex packs for a total of 5000 apex coins and octane which will include 3 apex packs for 2500 apex coins. We also have some weapon skin bundles for the alternator and re45
for 1800 apex coins and then a seperate bundle that will have the longbow and flatline for 1500 apex coins.Finally we have the caustic heirloom which looks incredibly sick and really there isn't much to it as it's cosmetic, but i
