10Against the Storm arrives on XBOX with a physcial edition that includes the "Keepers of the Stone" DLC From Fireshine Games. Developer Eremite Games developed the game in the Unity engine for Windows and released it conjunction with publisher Hooded Horse back in 2023. The console version in physcial was released later. The game is best described as When City Builder Meets Roguelite and that does very much describe this game with a shorter play time and goals to achieve. The game is based on a world eternally ravaged by the "Blightstorm". The only safe haven in this world is the Smoldering City, ruled by the Scorched Queen. You can pretty much guess a lot of the rest. I think the number of options to use modifiers to change the game play and an large world within to build new cities which is perhaps the most fun. Overall I found the game to be good and fun to play if you like these sorts of city building games and the manageable playtime really good. You can drop in play for a bit and move on to something else.
