This run is being submitted for AGDQ 2024. I have a fellow Peggle speedrunner, HeliosWx, helping co-commentate, and if this were to be run at GDQ, I would most likely have a couple of other Peggle runners there as well, helping to give commentary on different strategies and the unique challenges and format of this run.

This run is quite different from a normal run of Peggle for a few reasons. For one thing, Peggle World of Warcraft Edition is a spin-off of the main Peggle series, being only 10 levels long, as opposed to Peggle Deluxe (55 levels) and Peggle Nights (60 levels). However, the main difference of this submitted run is that as opposed to a normal (any%/ng+) speedrun, where you complete the main adventure mode of the game, this run also involves beating the additional challenges. It's slightly different from a 100% speedrun of the game (which would involve a couple of additional steps), but it is more similar to a 100% speedrun, showing off skills and challenges that aren't a part of normal runs, such as going for high scores and other objectives. This part of the game is normally not shown in the most popular categories, but is a massive part of the longer runs that go for full completion of the game's features.

This type of run (called a Grand Master or "GM" run) exists in the other Peggle games as well, but what I think makes this run work well for a marathon submission is that Peggle WoW is a lot of variety in a short time frame. A normal Peggle Deluxe GM run might take ~4 hours, and a Nights GM run might take even longer, and in both of those games there are quite a few challenges that are the same concept repeated. On the other hand, this run would likely take 30-45 minutes, while also showing off a variety of the strategies and quirks that make these types of runs unique and fun.
