In this episode of Age of Change, we focus on an important lesson and a community in Uganda that has learned this the hard way - nature can survive without humans but we can’t survive without nature. Nearly three quarters of the Kagombe Central Forest reserve in Uganda has been destroyed in the last 10 years as agriculture has expanded, and local communities have had to come together to combat the effects of climate change with planting and patrols.
