DM Notes: The Lady's Maze as presented in these sessions was heavily influenced by Pages of Pain, a Planescape novel I happen to consider one of (if not the) best licensed novels I've ever read. It presents a very haunting picture of both who the Lady of Pain is and what her mazes are like, and (as you can tell from the images) I figured that the Souls-Borne franchise was the best at capturing the isolation and desolation that the book depicts. Something else I did was draw from 112 sessions of experience with the characters to devise a personal hell for each of them--more on that later.
