A.I. NPC's + VR = A Whole New Level Of Gaming! / TrA.I.ning Day: The City Of The 'NihilA.I.sts'
7I have done several unique things in videogames or VR but adding A.I. NPC's takes the whole gaming experience to a whole new level!
This mod let you be a police officer, at the beginning you can choose your partner, each has a different personality and will respond different from eachother, they have no pre-written dialogues so you can kinda talk with them about anything, ask jokes, or mess around with them, mostly they reply in the character of a police officer, the story takes you over a number of police cases over 3 days where you'll have to talk with several other AI NPC's and make it to the end of the story, which has a great twist in the story by the way, but maybe you can expect it.
In this video you can watch the whole campaign and listen to all the dialogues i made with the AI NPC, i tried not to mess around to much in order to play the story right.
What is really interesting with this 'new AI genre', is that using your voice with NPC's that can respond on anything, in order to unlock the next step to the game is really new.
Now, even in vr and nonvr, we solve puzzles, find clues, find and give in codes, find tips in dialogues, answer some mutliple choice answers, and so on, but actually having to speak to an NPC, where you are required to listen and figure out what questions or words you have to mention in order to get the required information to go on with the story adds a whole new piece to the gamecake and this is to my oppinion very interesting.
Even when you want to ignore the story, you can just freeplay and mess around and convince the AI to agree with you, in another session i took the NPC out for a drink, and later i convinced him to rob a store with me, you can watch this footage here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3BihWVrecs
I didn't made this mod, the mod was online for a week on nexus untill it got taken down sadly, so please don't send me requests to share this or the vr mod files because i am not allowed to do so.
