Air Gallet - Arcade (1996)
1It looks great with wonderful visuals, lots of explodey spritey goodies, loud, flashy....but then you see that Banpresto logo and you just know something is going to go badly.
I'll be honest, there's two ways you might be able to look at this game. One is from an absolute shooter pro's perspective. I am not that person. From the casual perspective, this is horrible. I could see that there's a chance this could appeal to pros because there's SO much going on that if you're looking to test your reflexes to the extreme, this might be it. For the average person, it's stupid hard. Emphasis on the stupid. There's no rhyme or reason. Attacks and enemies are just all around you. You can die from any angle. The worst part of this game is actually the power ups themselves. To power up, you need to pick up 4 powerups. That's 4 times the risk and 3 extra things you need to pay attention to floating around when you should be focused on staying alive or shooting the things that prevent you from doing so. And don't lose it, because you will be punished hard for getting shot down.
