Airbus 350 satellite-based landing system 1st test
3First try of the awesome neew SLS landing system in the Airbus 350.
No HOTAS and joystick connected, so driving this beast around on the airport is a bit difficult with the keyboard.
I was listening to a podcast about a haunted house which unfortunately was also recorded with this video so sorry for that (I always listen to mystery true-crime or unknown creature and cryptid stories while flying to have some nice entertainment in the cockpit, but normally my screen recorder records the audio of active window only which is the flight sim.)
MORA was not active on the vertical awareness display during this flight because ground power failed while INS aligning when switching on the beacon light, this is some gound power auto-disconnect bug that is still not solved in the A350 (ground power should not disconnect when switching Nav and Beacon lights on leading to a complete power-outage in the cockpit with battery only.)
FSimstudios Vancouver Intl Airport scenery + SamScene 3D Vancouver City Times + Canada Modern Cities Vol.1 is a bit brutal on the FPS on my good old seven year Ryzen 5 2400G, on this airport I don´t get good framerates when doing screen recording, but it has SLS landing available on some runways and I absolutely had to test this SLS landing feature!
