**The sound didn't capture for whatever reason, nonetheless the game has a primarily rock soundtrack with Japanese dialogue sprinkled throughout the missions should you so choose to leave the story enabled. Anyways, I substituted some good video game inspired rock from the Minibosses in it's absence.**

Captured on the PC using "blue stacks". I tried to see if I could get controller support working well but I had minimal success. Just the tiniest incremental movements sadly, so it was touch pad or mouse control at the end of the day.

Still a very impressive game all around, you can tell it is a well made shooter. From the presentation to the simple but engaging scoring mechanics involving getting high chain counts while also cashing in big time with bombs that produce tons of high value coins that will rocket your score up rather quickly. You also recharge bomb stock rather quickly and there are 5 levels to your bomb gauge.

There are two characters, Aka the red ship has a spread shot and always shoots his bomb directly in front of his ship as far as I can tell. Blue has a slightly stronger (I think) more focused standard shot, but possesses the ability to aim her bombs via an arrow that can be manipulated with your movement. While I haven't been able to effectively utilize it, it seems like something that would certainly benefit the advanced player.

There is an arcade release in Japan for the EXA Arcadia called AKA to Blue Type R (for revolution). I would love to try this version of the game as it just begs to be played on an arcade stick. I've heard there may be a switch version in the works which while great, sadly doesn't benefit me currently. Here's hoping they bring it to the PS4 or better yet the PC.
