Not all that impressive really as there were only a few threatening spots at worst. It is nice how the game emphasizes repeated playthroughs of previous stages at higher difficulties for both resources as well as opening up new areas. Pretty varied selection of ships, and I believe I've not unlocked all of them (I have 7 right now...if I'm not mistaken). I'm using the default ship you start with, it has the traditional focus beam a la DDP and so many others.
