Thirty years ago, we were given a game of an extremely rare quality. The father of Dragon Quest (Yuji Horii) and the father of Final Fantasy (Hironobu Sakaguchi) came together for one big JRPG But that wasn’t enough. They also recruited legendary mangaka Akira Toriyama and formed “The Dream Team”. While I would never understate anybody who worked on this games commitment, I can’t help but feel like Akira Toriyama’s outstanding artwork helped guide the entire game. Let’s discuss why.
