Albino Lullaby (Critical Eye): Scary Background Issues
32Albino Lullaby's first episode sets a stage for a creepy world that may not be necessarily scary, but does crank the creepyness factor up. This world is interesting, it's worth having stories told about it.....it's just a shame that the gameplay doesn't match that atmosphere. While adventuring can discover small things that help supplement the story, mechanics like the stealth sections are inaccurate, and really, can be too harsh one second, while overly sensitive the next. And there's technically issues that are hopefully fixed with this last patch, but the ability to get stuck was present, to the point where enemies were spawned so many times that it stopped you from going through door ways. Sadly that's why the game doesn't get a recommendation in the end, and hopefully the next episodes will improve the engine to help tell this story.
