In all mmorpg's the market/auction area is one of the best and easiest places to make money off the items you have.

Due to each market place being on its own and not connected to the others in the game from what i can tell you are able to buy from one at a lower price and go to another and sell at a higher price if you want to do that tactic, it's kind of long but overall an easy/safe way to make silver/gold in the game (if you want to invest in gold in Albion).

In any mmorpg you can make easy money off of the auction/market place system if you play it right and there is less risk in terms of your character dying, only risk is the currency you use so its best to calculated before had and most games provide a nice graph of items cost from past few days ago or current market value.
