The game has failed to create a proper safe space for new players as well as established players who refuse to card swipe for silver or spend months grinding away at gathering to bankroll a few trips to a full loot zone. Albion Online used to have IP caps in safe zones which made players venture out more into the full loot zones. Currently only 8% of all players go to red or black zones, and those that do tend to have a miserable time due to insane power gaps brought on from the last two updates as well as the fact there's nothing stopping max geared veteran players from dunking players in newbie zones.
