Alephant, the elephant language puzzle game (first 2 worlds)
Alephant, the elephant language puzzle game (first 2 worlds). 100%'d besides the conversation in world 2.
This is part of a "Thinkathon" of 6 puzzle games that are releasing this week!

My thoughts:
What this game is 'about', so far, is about this linking mechanic, and navigating and moving rigid sticky objects. It is slightly (but not very) reminiscent of the game A Magical Hat or other sticky-based puzzle games. Considering the state updating is definitely interesting, as well as the "chess-queen-like" nature of extrapolating where you should stand.
I'm considering an Any% run of the next worlds if it even happens, because the individual level memorability is presented in a way where I feel like I have no good memory about the puzzles or their order, and I would just like to get to the "new stuff".
The game has very unique language theming, but makes it hard to describe what's going on. I'm sure I am going to unintentionally annoy people who know how Aleph/Niqqud should be pronounced but that feels so separated from the way I see the mechanics which is just "symbol on ground and circle that can connect to symbol", it is so abstract. Also describing level names is tough not knowing the languages (I imagine that is slightly 'the point' though).
(also sometimes I wonder if 'wordless game about language' fits Lingo more than this game... certainly that one is more about language than the physical pushing of this game. I guess it's just hard to market/pitch the game otherwise.)
The future mechanics, and the mystery of the actual language sections, are definitely things that could have much more depth in them than I perceive currently.
