Alien Invaders is a tabletop arcade clone of space invaders.A good clone in my
opinion
GAMEPLAY
The object of the game is to shoot the alien invaders before they land and destroy
all your cannons.
You can earn Extra points if you shoot down an enemy UFO.
Remember the fate of the universe is in your hands!
To shoot down the invaders and there UFO's, press START/FIRE button.
In order to kill the invaders,place your cannon directly below your target by moving
the joystick left and right.
Be careful when placing you cannon directly below your enemy because the invaders
will be shooting back at you!
If one of you cannons get shot,you will hear a warning sound.
The screen will then flash the number ofhow many cannons you have left.
Youcan protect your cannons with the shields directly above you.
If you shoot at the shields, or if the invaders shoot at them, the shields begin to
deteriorate until the disappear.
Make sure to kill all of the invaders before they land.
If they reach your shield line(earth line), your game is over.
LEFT AND RIGHT SCREENS
Your alien invaders arcade has two screens shown by an "L" or an "R" on the upper
right hand side of your score.
The "L" indicates you're on the left screen and "R" indicates you're on the right
screen
POINTS SCORED
You will earn 100 points for each invader you kill in the bottom row and 200 points
for each invader you killin the top row.
When a UFO appears, you'll hear an alert sound.
If you shoot a UFO you'll earn 400 points
LEVELS OF PLAY
To proceed to the next level, you must shoot down all of the invaders on your "L"
and "R" screens.
Once you've passed to the next level, your cannons will flash on the lower part of
the screen.
The new level umber will be displayed on the upper left and corner of the screen.
The higher the level,the more difficult the gamw.
If you lose, "GAME OVER" appears on the upper left hand side of your screen.
To begin a new game, press the START/FIRE button twice
