Initially Alien: Isolation was developed as a third person experience under the name "Alien Year Zero". This is a milestone demo showing the project in that phase, as shown at GDC 2015 by Alistair Hope. Although billed as a very early prototype, a considerable number of assets in this demo can be found in the final shipped version of the game: seemingly nicknamed "IL3", the level that the demo plays on forms the areas around the Reactor Core in the final game.
