Just trying out this mod i downloaded yesterday it's called
Ali's Brutal Doom Challenge mod. It is pretty cool, it gives you the option to buy ammo and armor with coins that drop after killing enemies with headshots or just random kill drops. Adjust your options before playing to make sure you know how hard it will be.

The weapons are nice, gore can be lowered or increased, and at the start you have the option of starting with 1 weapon and green armor, or 2 weapons and blue armor, or 3 weapons and no armor. Invisible enemies are tough to see which is intended. Pretty interesting mod and I love it so far. Choose your difficulty wisely. 😈

Testing it on Freedoom phase 2 map 2.
