Our Entertainment Editor, interviews comedians Sasheer Zamata (Ayana) and T. Murph (Clovis) about Woke season 2.

Inspired by the life and work of artist Keith Knight, comedy series Woke takes an absurdly irreverent look at identity and culture as it follows Keef (played by Lamorne Morris), an African-American cartoonist finally on the verge of mainstream success when an unexpected incident changes everything. The second season details the brand new life of Keef Knight now that he is a well-known artist-activist. Though Keef always wanted to be taken seriously, he finds that this fame may be a bit more than he can chew, especially now that everyone seems to want him to speak out about every topic.
