Spiderman 2
Hi everyone! Laurentiu here with a list of all Spiderman Games for the SONY PSP.
First off we have Spiderman 2, a video game made after the Tobey Mcguire movie. It features 19 levels, which you can finish in about 10 minutes each. The game is one of my dear childhood games. Unfortunately it doesn’t feature free roam, but the levels are fun. They consist of brawling and web slinging. In the video you can see a portion of the first mission of the game to get an idea on how the game formula is.
Among the fun levels you have also bossfights. And in this game you will fight: Rhino, Mysterio, Shocker, Vulture and Doctor Octopus
I definitely recommend this game. Tho short ( you can finish it in around 1 or two hours) it’s fun and action packed.

Spiderman Friend or Foe
Spider-Man: Friend or Foe was originally announced via a promotional page on the back of the Spider-Man 3 video game instruction booklet. The teaser stated that the game would be a "A new twist on the legend. A new take on the movies."

Spider-Man: Friend or Foe is a standard beat 'em up video game.
A nice aspect of the game is that it features a unique co-op mode in which a friend can join the game and take control of Spidey's sidekick. So if you’ve got a friend with a PSP you can play the game together.

It features a lot of playable characters like: Spider-Man, Black Cat ,Doctor Octopus ,Green Goblin ,Iron Fist ,Rhino ,Sandman ,Venom ,Carnage (Only PSP version) ,Electro (Only PSP version)
Locations: S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier , Tokyo, Japan
Tangaroa Island
Cairo, Egypt
Mediterranean, Undercity (PSP Version Only)
Alberna, Nepal
Spiderman 3
And now comes the game that I consider a masterpiece for the PSP. A dream come true. This is a spiderman game for this portable device that features Free Roam, which at that time was wow, especially considering the PSP’s 333mhz CPU. Swinging through New York was enough for me as a kid.
The game features an inspired story after the movie Spiderman 3 with Tobey Macguire.
You can’t get bored easily in this game (at least if you’re like me). The game includes a ton of contextual mini games (like the one you can see in this video). The story is interesting and varied, so it keeps the player interested.
The city feels alive, with cars roaming and NPC’s everywhere. The music is good and the feel of the game is just right considering that you are playing it on a PSP.
A feature that many will like is the use of the black suit. And you will fight more vilains than in the movie. Fighting against extra vilains like Lizard or Morbius.
I definetly recommend this game. It’s the best spiderman experience on the go in my opinion, and it features tons of fun.

Spiderman Web of Shadows
And the last of the Spiderman Games for the SONY PSP is Spiderman Web of Shadows. A 2D-3D game that for me wasn’t that much fun to play. It reminds of the good old GBA games that were 2D. But that formula sticks very well to the old GBA’s, but on PSP the game is a little disappointing not because the game is bad, but because Web of Shadows looks so cool on other platforms, like Xbox, PS3, PC and Wii, where the game is 3D, you have free roam, a killer combat mechanic, to be brief, a mountain of awesomeness. And then, when you want to play that game on the PSP you get this. It is pretty much an anticlimax.
In terms of gameplay it’s what you would expect from a game like this. You have levels, boss battles, all in a 2D-3D format. The controls can get clunky at times, like you know in these type of games.
I personally never finished the PSP version, but what I played from it left me with an okay-ish feel. It’s not terrible, but not a masterpiece either.
