Welcome back to Rusty Bard: No Song Left Behind! This episode was an absolute spiral — I set out to solve one simple clue scroll, and it turned into a full-on RuneScape adventure. First I had to grind out #Crafting just to make a ruby amulet… but of course, that meant hitting level 50 crafting and unlocking a whole mess of new options. I didn’t expect to hit such a milestone just for a clue step. #OldSchoolRuneScape #ClueScrolls
Speaking of clues, this one was worth it — I couldn’t drop it. It was a medium clue, the kind of thing my whole music-locked account is built around. Every track matters. Every step counts. #IronmanMode #OSRSProgress
After that grind, I tried to knock out a few achievement diaries… but I quickly ran into a wall with one that needed #SwanSong. No 66 Magic yet, so that’s on hold. Still, we push forward. And by “push forward,” I mean jump straight into a mess of quests.
We headed to #Karamja to start things off with Jungle Potion — always a classic. From there, it was #RecruitmentDrive, which felt oddly nostalgic, and then I started training #Fletching to prep for Big Chompy Bird Hunting. That quest's as weird as ever, but I got it done and added more music to the log. No song left behind. #MusicCapeJourney
Then came the unexpected twist. I dove into #ZogreFleshEaters — easily one of the grimiest quests in the game. Rotten food, undead ogres, and some nasty hits, especially as a #HardcoreIronman. The danger felt real. Followed it up with #TheDigsite and finally hit #ObservatoryQuest — and that’s where things got... weird. There's a moment with the telescope that I will never forget. I won’t spoil what I saw, but it really stuck with me. Let’s just say the stars didn’t lie. #OSRSQuests #Observatory
After that, I forgot what I was doing (classic), so I ran off and completed #FishingContest for a breather. Then it was off to #Watchtower for a big magic XP dump. Probably could’ve planned that better, but we take the wins where we can. #RunescapeMagic
I squeezed in some #Slayer, took on some #Shades, and randomly ended up in a #FrogPrince event — kissed the frog, and well... he was a man. Not my proudest moment, but it got me another music track.
Oh — and somewhere near the end, I stopped to pray at a broken #RuneCrossbow. Just a little easter egg if you know where it’s from. 👀
