All Weapon Groundpound Speed Comparison - Brawlhalla
66Here's a little tease as I continue to work on my Comprehensive Guide to Edgeguarding Part 2. This is a comparison between all the groundpounds for each weapon in Brawlhalla (sorry, no unarmed).
Video is divided in to four sections: GP with startup frames, GP w/ startup frames at 0.25x speed, GP without startup frames, GP without startup frames at 0.25x speed.
Some interesting things I noted: Katar GP is REALLY fast. I mean, I knew sword GP was fast, but I didn't realize it was at the same speed as katar GP. Bow, guns, and axe all have their GPs travel at the SAME SPEED: regular falling speed. Gun is actually pretty slow if you take into account its startup frames. While hammer may LOOK fast in the clip with its startup frames included, it is unique in that it travels at full speed while its frames are activating.
Hope you enjoy this kinda stuff! In the final video I'll probably freeze frame it and center these correctly, some of them are a little off.
