In the 8.1 PTR for the upcoming Tides of Vengeance patch, the Horde and Alliance will return to Darkshore in the aftermath of the War of Thorns and the fall of Teldrassil. What follows is a series of events that explores the aftermath from an Alliance perspective. Who or what is the Night Warrior? Will Tyrande's efforts bear fruit? And will the Kaldorei eventually retake the ruins of their home?
