ALLTYNEX Second - stage 1 to 4
1I picked this title back up and decided to give it a closer look. I've definitely learned the mechanics much better as well as the scoring system which is pretty interesting. Shooting popcorn enemies in quick chains creates a multiplier from 200 all the way up to 25,600 per enemy. In addition, killing popcorn builds a numeric multiplier up to 16 which can then by cashed in by using either your blade or beam cannon providing the enemy value x 2-16 depending on the multiplier value at the time of the kill.
In the time I played prior I never passed the second level boss on a single credit, but fortunately was able to no miss through stage two. I finally got by the stage three boss after many attempts earlier in the day, but unfortunately it was by way of time out...
Being my first time in to stage four the dream was very short lived. I believe it is a five stage game though so hopefully I can continue to improve on scoring and survival both and manage a decent scoring clear.
