0There's this indie game called Post Void that I've been playing every now and then. You need to get to the end of each level as fast as you can before the liquid in your idol runs out. If the liquid in your idol runs out, you die.
Killing enemies refills your idol with liquid. When you get to the end of each level, you choose an upgrade to help you in the next one. If you die you have to start all over again. Every time you start a new game, there will be a completely different map so no playthrough is ever the same. It's good for replayability and each round is less than 10 minutes.
I like it cause it's really intense. Fast-paced, bloody and violent. It keeps you on your feet as you shoot your way through tight corridors. And it's a rush. The art style is really nice as well. The pixel art is morbid and looks like something out of a nightmare.
This was a good run but I died at the very end. I can do better. Post Void costs two dollars on Steam and I've enjoyed this more than the triple-A games that cost sixty. Every time I play I get a little bit better.
