Alone at the Lake - An Original, Narrative Fantasy Poem
A bittersweet recollection of the first meeting between Elves and Humans; though it was a merry occasion, the thieving nature of time, which must steal from both races in different ways, resulted in painful consequences. Ironically. for the elf who first met humanity, time cannot heal the wounds which followed.
Many thanks indeed to the narrator of this piece, Julia Brass, who is @NotRomeo'sJULIET https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEAlV6CxweqtHrZNWzyg-Hg/featured here on YouTube. There are a great many nifty videos on her channel, including Shakesperean monologues, poetry, original fantasy films and much more.
