Alpha 0.0.5 Part Two of the Combat Update (Check Description) | Flatworld Dev Log
This was the finish to a really heavy background code update!!!!
I finished adding:
- A poisonous mushroom "Shroomer," a friendly mushroom "Scroomer," and a "Moss Golem" entity
- A combat system with 6 possible directions in which the player could *aim*
- A system for different damage weapons
- A health bar that accurately displays the health of entities which are monsters
- A system for knowing if the player should be taking damage (player is invincible due to the current lack of a "survival" mode)
I fixed:
- Door placement
- Certain circumstances that would cause you to fall into the side of a block
What I will add later (in relation):
- Ranged spear weapon for the Moss Golem, and a melee attack for the Shroomer
- A "survival mode"
- Item that drop from the entities (maybe moss and mushrooms consumables)
