Wow, they finally confirmed it. Guess my read on Steven was completely correct; he emphasized we weren't YEARS away, so I guessed sometime in 2024. As for exact dates, my money's on late spring: it's normally a pretty dead release window, and gives the entire summer, another traditionally dry game season, to get testers in and more eyes on the game.
Guess we shall see soon enough.
Events are pretty standard fare in MMOs these days I feel, so it's nice to see them making a return for Ashes.
Next month's stream apparently has something to do with rivers. My ambitious guess is a first look at naval combat, but I don't think that's ready yet. Or maybe the hint Steven gave was just a red herring.
