2:57:36 True Ending

The only differences between the normal ending and true ending is the final boss has some higher stats and there's the extra scene with Alt returning home. As far as I know there's no way to save Van he just dies.

I know this game is Alphadia games Kemco used to make but I honestly feel like it's meant to be a prequel to sword of Elpisia, granted the only thing I have backing that theory is the art style and Enah having her red eyes she has in Sword of Elpisia instead of her usual Green Eyes.

As for the game itself it's alright but it feels like a step back from sword of Elpisia. You're not really going to employ the same tactics you did for that game and while stance changes are a cool idea you don't really need them also a lot of major characters in this game don't even have portraits, Funny enough that led to me thinking Kaelm was a guy until literally her boss fight at the end of the game. I also feel like this game would've benefitted from at least one more boss theme as only having the main boss theme takes us back to the earlier Kemco games which isn't the best, heck machine Knight and sword of Elpisia at least had different music for the major bosses. This game is also much shorter, not counting when Ieft my switch running it only took about 11 hours, which considering Revenant saga and Sword of Elpisia are over twice that length you can see a bit of an issue.
That's not to say it's all bad. At least the translation team knew what they were doing this time instead of having the main antagonist just casually talk with the players like "sup guys"

This is basically a 6/10 game with some 9/10 moments so it's probably worth a playthrough if you're bored but I don't see myself coming back to this one like I feel with sword of Elpisia or Machine Knight.

I will say however I love the Team attacks, they give me the same happy feeling Chrono Trigger gives.
